The earliest appearance in print was in 1974 in Eddie Stone’s book, ’’Donald Writes No More’’. Its Russian equivalent is ’’As the call, so is the echo’’. All religions and cultures in some form hold this idea to be true. For example in Mesopotamia Hamurabi an ancient ruler created the first code of laws. It contained this little nugget which you will recognize – “An eye for an eye…”
