A few words on the Baccalaureate Ceremony June 5, 2010
Posted by The Wayward Wiccan in : Random Ramblings , add a commentIn a couple of days I will be attending the Baccalaureate Ceremony of my best friend’s daughter and I have to say I’m really excited about it! Can’t wait to dress up and join the festivities. A Baccalaureate Ceremony dates back to the Middle Ages when meaningful symbols were associated with the conferring of a degree. This is a highlight of the academic year and a time to rejoice, praise, honor and celebrate learning. It is also a time to recognize, in a formal manner, the achievements of our friends, relatives and colleagues.
