Dream Interpretation

As you probably know, dream interpretation is a subject of interest and a popular study field for many Wiccans and Pagans. And I am no exception. I have been fascinated ever since I can remember by the different methods of dream interpretation.

I’m sure you’ve woken up from a bad or weird dream at least once in your life and tried to decipher its meaning. Luckily, these days we can find lots of interesting ways to keep track of our dreams and interpret them. For example you can keep an online Dream Journal. This is a service that allows you to create a dream journal via your computer. You can keep the information private or share it with friends and family. Pretty interesting, isn’t it? The journal can be customized any way and any time you want to by adding updates as often as you’d like. And the best part: it’s free!

You can also consult Dream Dictionaries which help you acquire the ability to interpret and analyze your dreams. I know I consulted Dream Dictionaries many times, by myself or along with friends so see what the different meanings of our dreams are. Each symbol represents a feeling, a mood or something hidden in your consciousness. So look closely at characters, animals, objects, places, colors or numbers. Of course, these meanings are not the final say in what your dream means but they definitely offer a good starting point for understanding what your dreams are really about.

I would love to know all about your dreams, good or bad, so feel free to share!

I have a terrific resource for you. Tony Crisp is a Jungian therapist, and his Dream Interpretations site is a wonder. Detailed, very wide-ranging. With it, being a Jungian, Dr. Crisp is assiduous in helping to locate the right imagery for your dream – he knows that even if your significant other has the same dream, it means different things to both of you, and so a one-size fits all interpretation is never going to work. I can’t recommend it highly enough.
